Made of durable high fire ceramics fired to a toasty brown color, and decorated with piped-on white slip dots that form the toad bumps. There is one frog among the toads at the bottom of the pile, she is glazed in shiny gray green glaze. Her expression is somewhat glazed as well.

Artist Statement: This funny frog box was inspired by my friend’s very tiny “Harmony Kingdom” frog pile box. I just loved it, so I modeled a much larger version for myself. It’s a charming little secret box.
