Artist Statement: I wanted to create a dramatic vessel for my main table in the dining room. Her muted colors and demure posture were intended to put the focus on her bundles of flowers, but I find her most beautiful holding simple arrangements. Visualize her with a quiver full of pussywillows and a lap of succulent greenery. Even empty, she is a serene presence.
