Artist Statement: Gargoyles were originally the guttering downspouts on large medieval buildings, designed to protect the structure from water damage. Now they’re just fun little terrors that can protect your plants or windowsill from whatever you deem to be a danger. This little guy was inspired by my love of birds of prey and charming monsters.
